Dundee Utd.

Narey, Malpas, Sturrock, Hegarty......brilliant when they reached the UEFA cup final in the late 80s.

Still look out for their result now.

Agree re glory seeking fans having soft spots for wealthy equivalents of Man u Chelski and now Man city in juve merda and Milan etc...
when I arrived in Turin In 1999 even Toro fans asked me why I not picking juve and I just said... I am used to suffering!

Father in law is an universitario de deportes fan and we went to see el classico universitario v alianza lima together, a great atmosphere and I went away with a soft spot for alianza rather than his favourites, I didn't tell him that though.

It's funny to read that a lot of hammers fans have a soft spot for the italian-spanish equivalent of Manure, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Juventus and AC Milan are evil and Inter is just a step down the stair.
Parma is going bankrupt , again, and this time let's hope they will finish like Rangers, they just deserve to rot in the lower divison of italian football.

Any Turkish team that played an English one in European games.

Galatasaray after 1999 were a solid team for me to support.

Went through phases but had a soft spot for Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan. Still like to hear of Dortmund doing well actually.

Closer to home, I also had a linking for Rangers. McCoist and Hateley were scoring goals for fun at the time and they also had Gascoigne, Laudrup, Michalichenko (sp) etc. I still prefer them to Celtic.

Always had a soft spot for Borussia Monchengladbach.

Remember when they played Liverpool in the European Cup Final and I was intrigued by their rather long name.

I went into primary school the next day determined to learn how to spell their name properly.

Seria A in the 90's was amazing, full of great players and teams.

Such a shame about what has hhappened to Parma, what a team they were.
